Security and data privacy
Straight answers about how Knowster handles your data.
Your content stays your content
Knowster builds a private knowledge base from the website and documents you provide. Your chatbot answers from that knowledge base and nothing else. Your content is not used to train shared or public AI models.
Encryption in transit
The dashboard, the widget, and every API call are served over HTTPS/TLS. Traffic between a visitor's browser and Knowster is encrypted.
You are in control
- Delete any time. Remove a document, a site, or your whole account, and the underlying content is removed from the knowledge base.
- Connected sources are revocable. Disconnecting a synced source (for example Google Drive) purges the documents it synced.
- Per-site isolation. Each site's knowledge base is separate; one site never answers from another's content.
